HTG Theater Movie Spotlights

Lots of new stuff to explore around HTG Hollywood (including that shiny new Space Center!). But don’t forget, we have a lot of great films still in theaters! Here are a few of them…

Metro City Origins: POWer
From Flip Brothers Studio, this prequel spinoff from POWer spotlights the origin of Peter Walker (Dylan O’Brien). The cast includes Scott Bakula, Peter Dinklage, Willa Holland, Joey King, Joey Lauren Adams, and Clark Gregg, with a script from PJ Flip and direction by Kevin Smith. The movie is more drama than a traditional superhero action movie.

Kids in the Hall: Snapshots
Lucian’s short comedy breathes new life into Kids in the Hall with new takes on classic characters/skits. Judd Apatow directs the returning cast that is lead by Dave Foley, Scott Thompson, and Mark McKinney.

Justice Society of America
The first DC Comic’s adaptation that is being labeled as an “Elseworld’s” movie, this flick is fully standalone. No knowledge of past Batman or Superman films is needed to to head to the theater and watch this. Marking the return of writer/producer Chocolate Dog, ironically, the movie that features some of the oldest superheroes has one of the youngest/freshest casts, including Nicholas Hoult, Dave Franco, Kit Harington, Brie Larson, Armie Hammer, and Michael B Jordan. Will there be a sequel? I hope so!

Check out these movies and more in HTG Theaters. Don’t forget to check out the newest film in theaters, Bye Bye, Beautiful, and in two weeks will be the release of Press Start.
